A few Points of Interest:

• All Food truck vendors are screened for necessary licenses and insurance before they are allowed into the community.
• All food vendors have been informed about the need to make sure they are fully stocked and fully staffed to accommodate our residents.
• Food trucks will be in the circle by the clubhouse from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
• Food trucks cannot be in the neighborhood until they have communication and approval from the HOA Board of Directors for screening and scheduling.

The Del Tierra HOA has approved additional stop signs in high traffic areas. These stop signs are being added where there are existing crosswalks.

New stop signs will be added at the intersections of:

• Grande Vista Blvd & Trinity Fall Way
• Grande Vista Blvd & Las Olas Blvd
• Grande Vista Blvd & Tapa Parish Run

Please be prepared to stop at these new stop signs. Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has been informed of these additions and will be enforcing them.

When the installation is scheduled, an email blast and website posting will go out.

Our gate company will be installing an upgraded call box at our entry this week.

Due to the concerns of our residents and the fact the existing call box is over 6 years old the decision has been made to install an upgraded call box this week. The new call box will have a larger and brighter display which will make finding names easier.

The existing call box information and functionality is NOT changing, if your old directory number was 1234 that will stay the same. If we need to update the guideline listed below after installation, we will do so but the document will stay in the same place on our website.

The barrier arms at our front entrance are now active.

These guidelines should make traffic flow better at the front gate if followed.

1. ONLY use the right lane to enter the gate if you have a card or window strip.
2. If you DO NOT have a window strip do yourself a favor and buy one. Click here to complete the form and make sure the check is made out to Del Tierra HOA.
3. If you are using a card, make sure you pull over as far to the right as you can and hold the card so the flat side is facing the sensor.
4. Some vehicle windshields have a metal oxide in them that block transponders/cards from working. Does yours?
5. ONLY one vehicle at a time can enter, do not tailgate.
6. Wait for the car in front of you to clear the gate and confirm that the arm is green before proceeding. If you damage the arms or gates, a police report will be filed, and you will be held responsible for the any expenses related to the repair of the arms/gates.
7. If you have guests or deliveries coming please make sure you inform that they must use the left lane and provide them with your call box code.
8. Add a contact (Front Gate – Dial 9 to Open) to your phone for the gate call box (941) 914-0402 and make sure you have not already blocked that number as spam.

The HOA Board of Directors will once again be hosting our monthly Board of Director meetings at Bayside Community Church East Campus located at 15800 FL SR 64, Bradenton 34212. We will be in the same “Two of a Kind” room as we were last year. We will also be hosting it via Teleconference as we have been for the last 10 months. Next meeting is this coming Tuesday.
